The UK’s National Parks with Caroline Quentin

In April 2023, Art and Energy’s Chloe, Naomi and Jenny ventured to Harford Moor, Dartmoor to meet actor Caroline Quentin and her More4 film crew.

It was a glorious day on the moor to film a feature piece for the new series - The UK’s National Parks with Caroline Quentin. Throughout the series Caroline guides us through the majestic landscapes and activities on offer in our National Parks.

Art and Energy feature in episode one - Views, Valleys and Vistas. Chloe and Naomi talk to Caroline about our How to Bury the Giant work and activities to help restore the moorland habitat. Caroline gets stuck in making a woolly nest (made from local sheep’s wool) to plant pieces of bio-original sphagnum moss back on Harford Moor.

It was a pleasure to meet Caroline and talk to her about our work and hopes for the future. Thanks to the More4 team for inviting us to take part in this series and helping to raise our profile.
