Did you catch up with us in Exeter and pose your burning energy questions to us and our friends at ECOE?

Art and Energy have recently worked with two local Plymouth schools as part of our Clean Streets project.

In collaboration with David Sergeant at the University of Plymouth, we have successfully applied to the Arts and Humanities Research Council to work with 6 creative organistaions in Plymouth to explore how visions of Utopia may be able to help us to face the energy crisis and the climate emergency.

We are looking for 6 culture sector participants working in Plymouth who would like to join in this creative investigation.

The Art and Energy Collective owe a huge debt of gratitude and appreciation to Kaleider and I want to take this opportunity as we move out of their safe and nurturing nest onto pastures new (a few hundred meters down the road to Positive Lights Projects on Sidwell Street).

Join us for a bit of creative action that helps us take another step towards a brighter greener future with our friends at Exeter Community Energy (ECOE).

We will be asking people for their burning energy questions which we’ll try and answer on Facebook Live, and we’ll be asking people to help us make a blazing sun sculpture for the heart of the geodesic dome.

This summer, Art and Energy were commissioned by Green Minds to provide activities that encouraged Plymouth’s young people to engage with and explore the green environment.

We’re planning to bring people together for a series of relaxing creative sessions from October to March in Exeter were you will make your own solar powered night light, inspired by energy in your home and your hopes for the future.

We are very happy to announce that Arts Council England has confirmed that it will be one of the supporters of our new online platform.

Launching in January 2023, The BURY the GIANT Club will be for anyone who wants to be more creative responding to the climate emergency.
