The Mossy Carpet workshop - part of Summer in the Scene Dock (Theatre Royal Plymouth)
Take a moment to enjoy The Mossy Carpet and make moss inspired pompoms to add to the artwork. Sit quietly and listen to The Mossy Story written by Micha Colombo and read by Anton Christensen.
Far Flung CIC dancers will be on hand if you'd like to dance or play or learn to move as you listen to the story.

Part of Summer in the Scene Dock* - a programme of outdoor events at Theatre Royal Plymouth this August.
The Scene Dock will be transformed into a welcoming hub of entertainment and community.
Expect bands, quiz nights, DJ sets, theatre, cabaret, workshops, roaming performers and more.
Plus, enjoy a selection of food from local vendors and drinks from our pop-up bar.

The Mossy Carpet at Torre Abbey, Torquay
An enchanting outdoor performance & workshop for children ages 4+ and their families.
Step into the magical world of The Mossy Story by Micha Colombo, where a curious boy named Jay and his wise Grandma journey through an enchanted garden, meeting minuscule creatures and taking on the mighty Carbon Giant. Together, they discover how small actions can protect a delicate ecosystem, and how everyone has a part to play in caring for our planet.
This imaginative, eco-themed show is a joyful, sensory experience combining storytelling, dance and nature, specially created for children aged 4 and up.
Your ticket includes:
Entry to the performance of The Mossy Story by Micha Colombo, on The Mossy Carpet
A hands-on Pom Pom making workshop where you’ll create your own piece to add to the ever-growing Mossy Carpet used in the show
Access to Torre Abbey, including its historic grounds and gardens
Event duration: 1hr 30 minutes (30 min performance into 1 hr workshop with breaks built in)
Location: Torre Abbey Learning Lab & Gardens
