Following Art and Energy’s super successful How to Bury the Giant exhibition in Plymouth in November 2025 for COP30, we would like to take it on tour again this winter.

As part of that exhibition:

  • We invited more than 2,000 visitors to enter a tactile world, taking their shoes off to experience all 80 metres of The Mossy Carpet artwork, exploring mossy landscapes up close, leaving their message on the Tardigrade Telephone, sharing and celebrating actions they are already taking for a better future.

  • The world is powered by the sun and the natural environment it supports - this exhibition encouraged everyone to get hands-on with nature, including interactive solar artworks that light up when people connect with them. When we act together, we can imagine the changes we can make.

  • This exhibition asks How to Bury the Giant - how do we all help to keep the carbon climate giant buried, how can we and the land become more resilient?

Thank you for the opportunity to think about my actions in the world.
The Art and Energy approach gives a different perspective on engaging people’s imaginations.
— Exhibition visitor, November 2025

Now we have an opportunity to find some funds to help us take How to Bury the Giant on tour, an element of it, just The Mossy Carpet, or the whole thing!

We present a unique interactive and tactile exhibition that:

  • Supports creativity and conversation responding to the climate and ecological crisis.

  • Celebrates the power of small actions to reduce carbon in the atmosphere.

  • Nurtures our mossy landscapes.

How to Bury the Giant’ is available from October 2026 through to September 2027. The scale and content of the touring exhibition can flex to suit your venue.

Every venue is different. Let’s have a chat about your idea and work out what the costs could be... then we can look for funds and make it happen. Have a read of our How to Bury the Giant tour document to find out more.
