Solar for Schools

‍Art and Energy have recently started delivering educational workshops on behalf of Solar for Schools‍.

We are really excited to be reaching new audiences and inspiring them to learn more about solar energy, sustainable technologies, and the broader renewable energy sector.

This new work has seen Art and Energy’s Jenny travel to work in schools in Hampshire and Dorset as well as closer to home in Devon and Cornwall. Jenny is delivering workshops to both Primary and Secondary schools, some to full classes or year groups and others to smaller groups of passionate eco-club or school countil students.

Alongside the educational sessions, Jenny is using her technical skills to carry out annual visual inspections of solar panel equipment on the school sites.

Thank you to the schools we’ve worked with so far; we’ve received a warm welcome, enjoyed meeting your students and look forward to visiting again next year.
