Sunlight Gathering at the Energy Capital Partnership Conference 2026

Following the success of ‘We Are All Connected’ in 2024 and 2025, we were invited to return to bring a bit of creative fun to the Energy Capital Partnership Conference this September.

Art and Energy’s Jenny and Naomi hired a fully electric van to travel up country, taking Sunlight Gathering and a display of commissionable artworks, including our new acrylic artworks.

Jenny describes the day:

“It was great to return with something a bit different this year. We enjoyed catching up with friends and contacts made on previous visits - the West Midlands feels extremely vibrant and proactive in terms of developing their infrastructure and whole energy system in a more holistic sense so that it will be fit for future. It’s always great to see that this event brings together such a diverse range of organisations including community energy groups, local politicians, big industry, National Grid…. a great opportunity for them to mingle and get a better understanding of varying needs, limitations and opportunities. Over the 3 years the event’s really grown, and this year had a great buzz which suggested exciting things in the pipeline and an ambition to share their learning across the country.”

“I particularly enjoyed watching a panel discussion where our friend Danielle Parker from Solar for Schools advocated for more opportunities for young people to understand how they could work within the sector.
