‘Light goes in’ is a solar artwork made with etched glass, silicon solar cells, EVA glue, tabbing wire and electrical components. When hung on a sunny internal wall it generates electricity , charging a battery from which you can charge small USB devices such as mobile phones.
Another artwork from this series has been purchased for the permanent collection at Switzerland’s Mudac museum!
This unique one off artwork was hand made by Chloe Uden of The Art and Energy Collective in 2019.
